Mobile Application Development:

The world has many countries with the highest penetration of mobile technology. The Smartphone has gone from being a communication tool to being a technological extension of ourselves. From the mobile or the tablet, we can update the news, we connect to our bank, we share and we think in RRSS, we are in contact with our friends, we look for work or even monitor our health through various mobile apps. Following the pace of society, mobile technology has also become an obligation for business: business mobility . From this point of view, the objectives and utilities of mobile apps are very varied:

Loyalty to customers or employees:

  • Improve the user experience
  • Facilitate effective communication
  • Optimize processes
  • Gain agility in the critical points of your back office
  • Increase productivity
  • Increase competitiveness

As a company specialized in digital transformation, in Profile we know that today one of the most important strategic bets in most organizations is to include in their business processes and operations the development of mobile applications .

Any company that wants to create a mobile application will find itself at the crossroads of knowing what technology to use for the development and maintenance of the app . This decision will mark the final quality of the application, the development cost, both in time and money, and maintenance costs. Among the possibilities for the development of mobile applications, we distinguish between two systems: native applications and hybrid applications.

We are offering development of hybrid applications with Ionic:

Nowadays, hybrid mobile applications are increasingly used in the development of apps, but what exactly is a hybrid mobile application? The mobile Mashups are a combination of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript , that are neither truly native mobile applications that consist of a WebView executed within a native container, nor are they based Web, that are packaged as applications for distribution and have access to the device’s native APIs.

What is Ionic?

It is an open source SDK that provides tools and services to develop hybrid mobile applications. It is built on top of  AngularJS and Apache Cordova  and focuses mainly on the look and feel and interaction with the user interface of the application, in order to simplify the front-end .Ionic is, in turn

  1. A CSS framework  with a multitude of reusable and customizable front-end elements that allow the development of a relatively fast user interface , such as headers, footers, buttons of different sizes and styles, lists, avatars, cards, forms , entries, check boxes, tabs and many more.
  2. A JavaScript library of user interface with JS components that give life to the elements of the front-end and are used as HTML elements in the application.

One of the most used Ionic JS components is the tab component,  which allows a certain content to be displayed or hidden depending on the tab selected by the user.
